August 6-8 Old Bedford Village -1940s Weekend- “Fund Raiser”. Living History

W2HPG sponsors along with other groups a “fund raiser” to help Old Bedford Village raise money to help with the restoration of the over 40 original buildings in the beautiful setting on 100 acres of land in Pennsylvania.

Total invitations is no less then 100 and no more then 200. If you have a very good interpretive impression from WWII we would love to talk to you. Please contact this website.

For additional information and directions  please go to www.oldbedfordvillage.com

September 10-11Michaux State Forest PA”. “Tactical”

This will be a 60 mile rolling battle in the state forest of Pennsylvania.

The event is limited to 60 Germans and no more then 30-40 Allies. All groups must provide period transportation as this will be a rolling event. Unique in its design this is the second time this event has been done. Troops must be prepared to only take what is on their backs and to live out of the vehicles. A minimal event without much fanfare this event will provide the insight of what it was like “to being there”. Extreme authenticity will be enforced. This event is not for everyone and is extremely physical.

October 8-10 Sponsored by W2HPG Inc.  "Young Marines" program in Quarryville PA.

Based on the Boy Scout Explorer program only it is organized under the Marine Corps League.  They are active doing charitable work, Toys for Tots, assisting at retirement homes, marching in parades, etc. There is no commitment to enlist but it does prepare them to be stand up individuals when they reach adulthood. I believe there is a benefit if they do enlist that they graduate one rank higher than those who weren't Eagle Scouts or Young Marines. We will provide a large display of authentic WWII reenactors from all nations and armies. We are asking for all to come and support the "Young Marines". Please email us for more information.

November 11-14 “Old Bedford Village PA.” - “Ostfront Tactical”

This is our final battle of the year taking place in Old Bedford Village. The village will help recreate a time period on the Eastern Front during WWII.

This year we will be doing something different. What it will not be is the typical Soviet/German fight to the death event, instead this year the town will be occupied by Soviet civilians and the German forces will occupy the village. During the course the day the Germans will enlist the help of the civilians as the occupying force. Will there be a "uprising", will there be break thru from Soviet forces?

Each side will be provided with.

Housing in one of the original log cabins.

Saturday evening meal.

Saturday night entertainment with Polka Band and refreshments.

Flea Market

Easy access for dropping off your equipment and gear.
